General FAQs
-
What is the proper warm up procedure?
Warm up (without revving) the engine until it is at least 75 degrees water temperature.
When left running, for example, waiting for the track to open, do not allow the motorcycle to keep running past 100 degrees water temperature. The motorcycle does not have an auxiliary cooler/radiator fan, and therefore will overheat when left running whilst standing still.

How do I use Throttle map & Engine brake modes on my GP2?
2 throttle maps are available on the GP2-R. Using the "Rain" mode reduces low throttle torque, allowing more control for the rider to ride in wet weather conditions. It is not just for wet weather riding, this mode offers riders a softer throttle input for riders who required more feeling during first touch and control in low gears. The Rain map will still offer the rider 100% gas, but allows a smoother lower throttle input. Recommended for new or intermediate level riders.
"Dry" or "sunny" mode offers a stronger lower throttle input, recommended for racers and riding conditions that offer the rider a high level of grip.
